Export 3D model of board as .STL file

I am currently using this software to design the first of _up to_ 6 boards for a project which will fit into a 6" x 4" x 2.1" ABS enclosure _(Circuit Specialists Part #PB-4P)_ when finished. This project is fairly simple in terms of board packing (The 6 boards slide into slots molded into the enclosure, with 1/8" space at the top for slightly crushed-down wiring), so the feature isn't really necessary right now, but I imagine it could be very useful for a few other projects some other people are working on right now. As an added feature, this doesn't sound like it would be too complicated (at least not compared to the 3D view itself), since the 3D view already has the models of each component, plus a procedurally-generated model for the board itself, and the "Export .STL" button would only need to merge these models into one, then encode it into a file which is then saved to the user's computer through their browser's download function.

Could you restate what it is that you would like, to clarify the requirements? Thanks.

@andyfierman This request was for a button visible from a PCB's 3D view, which when pressed would generate an STL file (3D model which can be imported into most CAD programs) of the board with all the components on it. This file would most likely get onto the user's computer by **being downloaded through the browser**, like how the schematic is exported as a PDF. The reason I would want a feature like this is to check if the assembled board would fit inside your case before waiting for the boards to ship. I apologize if the original explanation was a bit confusing, I was in a bit of a hurry to get my idea out onto the computer before I forgot about it.

@wmays287, No problem. Good to have the idea captured. :)

To help clarify my exact idea here, I have highlighted certain regions of a screenshot of this software. These are the labels I've created for myself, no idea what the actual terms are since I skipped the tutorial:![Screenshot_2020-11-14_17-21-48-EDIT1.png](//image.easyeda.com/pullimage/2etYdRCTLTglwPeIJ92OucpCMUiPaVWZvigVmxVm.png) Highlighted in **YELLOW:** Shortcut bar (Add a button here, with the letters S T L as its icon) Highlighted in **GREEN:** Drop-down menus (Under **File**, add "Export STL" or later expand to "Export as... > .STL" if you add more export formats such as .OBJ) The idea here was to avoid any potential confusion about where I thought the option could go.
