**Feature Request** Brief title for your desired feature: Add footprint/package when marking component as a favorite. How would you like the feature to work? Currently, when flagging a component as a favorite, it only appears as a favorite schematic symbol. The footprint/package should also be made a favorite, or at least the option to do so should be available. Why is this feature important to you? It is very hard to figure out how to edit a PCB footprint/package. The reason is because when a component is marked a favorite, the accompanying footprint/package is not. When opening a favorite component, there is an editor for the schematic symbol, but not the footprint. This behavior is so confusing, that it makes it almost impossible to figure out how to edit a footprint. In fact, since component searching doesn't usually involve the footprint, it makes it even more difficult to figure out how to clone or mark a footprint/package as a favorite. If when making a component a favorite or cloning it, the option should be available to do the same with the footprint or otherwise a mechanism to do it with the footprint alone. Then, the footprint/package will show up in the component chooser under packages with the appropriate tag. Then it will be easy to create and modify one's own footprints.
