Floating pins not allowed?

Hello, I've drawn a schematic for a motor control circuit composed of two mosfet solid state relays. Similar to a relay, each SSR has three pins: wiper, n/c and n/o. When I try to make a PCB layout, I run the net check first. The drains of Q2 and Q4 are listed as errors because they do not connect to anything. I can still make the PCB layout, but would like to resolve the issue or find a work-around. Any ideas?

Use the Not Connected X symbol in the Wiring Tools palette.

Thanks for responding. I've tried that. I get the following error message when I try to use "No connect": "No connect flag only can be placed on Pin dot or the wire which is connected one Pin."

@jimlynnjulian No 'dots' show up at the points in question and when I place the 'No connect', anyway, there's no effect when the diagnostic is run before PCB layout. Three terminals on the motor are also marked as errors.

@jimlynnjulian, What would be much more helpful would be a link to a public project rather than a screenshot. With notes about where you want to put your unconnected net markers or where the problems are.

You probably need to read (2.2) in (2) in: [https://easyeda.com/forum/topic/How-to-ask-for-help-and-get-an-answer-71b17a40d15442349eaecbfae083e46a](https://easyeda.com/forum/topic/How-to-ask-for-help-and-get-an-answer-71b17a40d15442349eaecbfae083e46a)

to understand how to deal with things like wire in hole connections and off- board components. Such as relay in sockets and wired connections to switches or pots. There have been a couple of recent posts about how to make connections that are wired (soldered) directly to the PCB that may be relevant.

I've decided the issue is moot. The circuit is simple enough to design a pcb etch layout without the aid of software. The only reason to pursue the issue would be to run a simulation, in which case, I would use LTSpiceXVII.

The symol pins number must match the footprint pads number, you need to change a footprint or edit the symbol
