assigning multiple devices to the same footprint in the Footprint Manager has a minor issue. Steps: 1\. Create a project with say 5 resistors \(let's say 0805 size\)\.  On each resistor delete the footprint assignment 2.  Open the Footprint Manager and they will all be highlighted red on the left, because they have no footprint assigned. 3.  Select the first one on the left.  Search for 0805 in upper left, highlight the appropriate footprint: "805" on the right middle, and press UPDATE on the bottom right.  No problem. 4.  Now select the second one down from the list on the left.  The schematic symbol loads, but the footprint picture that was in the middle right disappears.  It is still selected (or at least highlighted) on the right middle. 5.  You can't even select the footprint again (by left clicking the already highlighted correct footprint).  You must de-select it (by perhaps selecting a different, incorrect footprint)...then re-select it 6.  Now you are able to hit Update
