I found another bug when making this post, Window's "Snipping Tool" saves screenshots with a ".PNG" extension and your forum's upload image button won't accept the file type unless I change the extension to a lowercase ".png" ...
So the PCB view I was working with is below:
![PCB view.png](//image.easyeda.com/pullimage/flKWMYQXEfwd9fpzrNL66RTVUKz2e9nh4yOr046t.png)
Then, when I export the gerbers, I uploaded them straight to OSH Park and ordered and didn't realize the Gerbers had different copper layouts than the PCB view did, see U2 below.

It shorted all three pads on the left together, and it extended the pad size of the upper right and lower right pads so that they were barely not touching the ground copper plane. Of course when I was in PCB view, this didn't trigger a flag in the realtime DRC, and of course the Gerbers that were generated violated this so OSH Park took the pads that were barely not touching and shorted them outright.

Very frustrating, why would the gerbers have different layouts than the PCB view in the Easy EDA editor?
Is it common to need to review each part of a footprint in depth to make sure gerbers match the PCB editor view?
