Hi I am a Newbie.
I would like to modify the footprint of a component in the library, but keep the schematic.
I can change the footprint but then how do I save it so that I can use it in future, with that schematic.? Help!!
Open it for editing from the library;
Save it with a unique name;
It should then show up in under Workspace in the libraries tool.
If it does not then go to your Worksosce through the upper right account button and find the footprint in All(My Libraries) and select it there. From then on it appears in Workspace.

I have been trying to do the same thing with no success. When I select the component in the library and click EDIT it opens to the symbol edit screen, I cant get to the footprint edit screen.

Schematic Symbols and PCB Footprints are two separate files so you have to edit and save each one individually.
You can search for Schematic Symbols in the Library after selecting Type: Symbol.
You can also find and edit your Schematic Symbols and Modules and PCB Footprints and Modules in your Personal Workspace here:
