1. Open both the source and the destination schematics.
2. Select the part in the Source schematic;
3. CTRL+C copy;
4. Click in the Destination schematic;
5. CTRL+V paste.

The procedure I have described works if you follow the instructions.
* You have to click on the symbol to select it not just hover over it.
* You must have both schematics open until you have pasted the copied part.
