Help To Understand DRC Errors

I'm struggling to understand the shown DRC errors ... all (track/image or pad/image) are reporting the same type of error condition. I'm using a custom button pad which has its footprint created from an image, not sure if the image in picked up incorrectly as a part of the footprint or something ? I'm hoping to get these PCB's manufactured soon but am concerned there will be an issue. ![image.png](//image.easyeda.com/pullimage/GkETKY7xY6YDj0oSGxWzrCROb7YQ6SfHLsEHxq0S.png) Also I've introduced a solid plane and the button pad link to it looks a bit strange ... will this manufacture ok still or is it better to change the design somehow ? This is on the CANCEL_2 pad below. ![image.png](//image.easyeda.com/pullimage/UJ7IUISRibZYjoSTzIYHebhJnxEaMKApb4fhR3u1.png)

@andyfierman that's interesting, thankyou. So it would seen that point 1 on that list would apply here and that I would have to recreate the image shape using pads to avoid the errors ? Also seems like I could proceed and ignore these errors as they are really just false alarms ?

",,,it would seen that point 1 on that list would apply here and that I would have to recreate the image shape using pads to avoid the errors ?" You can also use the Track and Solid Region tools and then apply the Right-Click option to convert them to pads. The Rect tool also works via convert to Sold Region then convert to pad. "...seems like I could proceed and ignore these errors as they are really just false alarms ?" You do this entirely at your own risk. It is best practice to have zero DRC errors or warnings at the point where you submit for manufacture. Ignoring DRC errors or warnings is OK until the time you make a mistake and ignore the wrong thing. 1. In any case you should always generate and then meticulously check your Gerbers (using gerbv or an equivalent tool) to ensure that everything you think is connected is and everything that is not, is not!

@myecad, If you mark the unconnected pins of the symbol in the schematic with the green "No Connect" X from the Wiring Tools pallette then those pins will be ignored by the PCB Design Manager when you convert the schematic to - or update - the PCB.
