Hi all, I'm dipping my toe in the PCB design water for the first time, and having a little trouble understanding solder mask. Do i have it right that when i lay down a track (or copper pour for that matter) it automatically gets masked? And if I select a particular track, and then click the "create solder mask" box at the bottom of the track properties menu on the right, i'm actually exposing the track?
**First photo** is the PCB showing track U2\_3 as drawn\, and track U2\_4 with the purple border that comes from clicking the "create solder mask" button\.
**Second photo** shows the resulting PCB photo, borne out by several Gerber viewers. So the U2_3 track, as drawn, appears green and covered with mask, right? Seems like the button works backward, or is there a setting somewhere i've glossed over?

I should certainly add that this is an awesome tool, seems very easy to use, though perhaps having autocad experience helped me. I'm certainly going to recommend it though!
