Hi all. I am trying to create the PCB package for an Allegro [ACS758KCB-150U-PFF-T](https://www.digikey.com/products/en?keywords=ACS758KCB-150U-PFF-T) Here is a link to my package: [ACS758KCB-150U-PFF-T](https://easyeda.com/component/d0de79b2bc2f46d0b2a0ebd9fe8e13ab) It has 2 large oval shape pads that nearly touch each other, except there is a a small flat spot on the curved part of each oval. It's these flat spots im having trouble creating. ![ACS758xCB.jpg](//image.easyeda.com/pullimage/TuPmUZbWepP28SuAgVzR3TEDxuFNRECH9hfc9g0c.jpeg) Hopefully somebody can help me figure it out.

There are two ways to do this. Both start by doing: **New > PCB Lib** ![image.png](//image.easyeda.com/pullimage/ocqPy2239rkg3CJN67RHH2Npt0DSEOOX6wyjS3h1.png) **1) Less accurate but easy to do.** Start by building an **Multi-Layer**, **Oval** pad with a **Slot** hole but with an annulus that is within the width of the flat section: ![image.png](//image.easyeda.com/pullimage/gy27OB0oMYag2S9dyc2RcBuKGKm6ewBzrTCzl56u.png) Then overlay a **Solid Region** and then drag the green circles to move the vertices, drag the blue circles to add and drag more vertices. Double click the green vertices to remove them: ![image.png](//image.easyeda.com/pullimage/YueQ33DLT2PoWcqYVtKAYNBegcVxEIunSK4yUlIQ.png) **2) More accurate but more fiddly:** Select **Multi-Layer** and **Polygon** then edit the shape of the pad using the **Edit Points** dialogue: ![image.png](//image.easyeda.com/pullimage/8o8Sas4dw1eQvq3MvCL82JjBX1QIGwKnI0cuKLW3.png) Then edit the **Slot** hole shape and position. * In either method then add the vias for the extra conductivity to other layers.

So I chose method 2 for this, but i used an external cad tool to extract the required x,y coordinates of the outline first. I found that for a quarter of a circle, 4 points gives enough resolution to make it look enough like an arc. For the side with the semi-circle, I used 9 points.
