Your question is not clear. Is this the image that you want to use to make your PCB? ![desien.png](https://image.easyeda.com/pullimage/299eBFihJigdqbFIoSAe8vVHIE2W5IvCwhEaSMYf.png)

I would suggest you print out the map onto gridded paper and measure lots of points, then enter them by hand on the board outline. But I have no idea if JLCPCB will accept such a board - might set an interesting trend if they do :-)

Looking some more, if you can convert a jpg of the map outline to a .DXF file externally using a convertor like [https://convertio.co/jpg-dxf/](https://convertio.co/jpg-dxf/) It then looks like you can import it to the Board Outline layer.  No idea if it works though. Then you need to lay the components inside the outline in the normal manner. Good luck and let us all know !

First, create a file from which you can generate a clean Board Outline with nothing inside it: 1. Draw and scan, copy or create an outline in some form of drawing package;  2. Save as - or convert it to - a jpg, png, gif, bmp, svg or dxf; For example: ![India_outline_01.png](//image.easyeda.com/pullimage/auSMpmE7eDIgoPIGvpoaltDeDh8ait9I20eaYkUA.png) or: [https://patternuniverse.com/download/india-pattern/](https://patternuniverse.com/download/india-pattern/) (then right click on the image and do Save As...) Note that you may have to include Bangladesh to make a robust PCB. :) * Next, please read: [https://easyeda\.com/andyfierman/Welcome\_to\_EasyEDA\-31e1288f882e49e582699b8eb7fe9b1f](https://easyeda.com/andyfierman/Welcome_to_EasyEDA-31e1288f882e49e582699b8eb7fe9b1f) * Then, following the EasyEDA Design Flow, first create your properly constructed schematic. Check it as described in (4) in: [https://easyeda\.com/andyfierman/Welcome\_to\_EasyEDA\-31e1288f882e49e582699b8eb7fe9b1f](https://easyeda.com/andyfierman/Welcome_to_EasyEDA-31e1288f882e49e582699b8eb7fe9b1f) Then do **Convert to PCB...** Save the PCB. Then: 1. Import the outline file into the **Board Outline layer** of your PCB. 2. Using the default board outline already created by EasyEDA as a guide, do some trial footprint placements to be sure everything will fit and can be routed properly. Note that it may take several tries before you have an outline that is scaled correctly 3. When you are **sure** you can arrange your components as required to fit **and** give a suitable layout and tracking, then delete the default board outline. 4. Save the PCB 5. Arrange your components as required to fit and give a suitable layout and tracking; 6. Check it as described in (6) in: [https://easyeda\.com/andyfierman/Welcome\_to\_EasyEDA\-31e1288f882e49e582699b8eb7fe9b1f](https://easyeda.com/andyfierman/Welcome_to_EasyEDA-31e1288f882e49e582699b8eb7fe9b1f)

Did you actually try this Andy ?  After my comments I had several attempts at importing the UK as a .dxf and whilst it was quite visible as soon as I generated the Gerber it seemed to fail.  At which point I thought I'd better get back to proper work :-)

I've just spent the last 30 minutes trying to import the png outline I posted and haven't even managed to get it to import yet. It works fine with a simple rectangle. I think the image import falls apart if the image is more than a few kB. :(

@andyfierman  Yes I think so as well.  A real pity as I want one of those map PCBs too :-)

Oh.... I just realised that the Board Outline Layer is the only layer that you cannot import an image into! Only a DXF can be imported into the Board Outline layer. When I tried to create a simple png into a DXF it messed it up so it looks like getting a map outline into EasyEDA Board Outline may only be possible if either it is available  directly as a DXF or if the (very much simplified) image is imported into the Document Layer and then a Board Outline is drawn over it in the Board Outline layer. I discovered all this because, for a joke, I was trying to produce a PCB with a simplified Scotland+Wales+England outline based on the png below but I've had my plans foiled: ![UK_outline.png](//image.easyeda.com/pullimage/qFivHJjiz5PhfjMOPLT59wQjD1hsaox2BAcO2jPu.png)

For everyone's information: If you set the Routing Angle to Free Angle then it is easy to quickly draw a rough board outline and then adjust it to any degree of accuracy. Left-click and drag on the blue circles to add a vertex. Double-left-click on the green circles to delete a vertex like this: ![Board_outline_free_draw.gif](//image.easyeda.com/pullimage/jrviSmcjSnsJDgsiIPQ53LI1BsbLJcwn2f8etn0Z.gif) * Just make sure that the last point in the board outline is exactly the same as the first so that the outline is closed.

@manoranjan2050, Thanks for posting back. Good to know this is working for you. There are three ways to save the Board Outline. Two privately and one way which - at the moment - makes it public. **Save it privately: ** Two ways: Just save the project and when you want to use the outline again, open the PCB, open a new PCB then - keeping both tabs open - select the outline and just CTRL+C copy it from the old PCB and CTRL+V paste it straight into the new one. or: Clone the PCB into a new project then delete everything except the board outline. **Save it publicly:** Copy the PCB. Open it then delete everything except the board outline. Then do **Save As Module...**  Then you can delete the copy of the original PCB.
