I'm working on a PCB design that can handle a few different IC's. All the pads are the same but things like caps and resistors differ between the IC's. Is there a way to set up a PCB for P&P were you can pick the IC and have it automatically replace the caps and resistors? Just to be clear. I'm making a board that has 5 configurations for 3 IC's. There are some jumpers, capacitors, and resistors that need to moved/replaced depending on desired function. The PCB is set up so that any of these configurations can be made. Is there a way to set this up for P&P so I can order variants easily, or do I need to have all 15 configurations saved/ordered individually?
