When I select a part from JLCPCB part of library it always places the EU's square box rather than the proper symbol which is offered in the EELib menu. Is there any way to get resistors to default to the correct symbol ?
Yeah, its a quite pain in the "behind" to manually change every resistor to US style. I haven't found any method to do this either. However, I live in Finland and I use EU style resistor symbol so that is not a quite problem for me. Maybe Andy @andyfierman can shed a light for us?

@markus_jidoka, @MikeDB,
Sorry but I am not aware of any way to change the shape of a symbol other than by replacing it with one that already exists in the library, with all the same attributes.
I'll do that. I thought it would be driving American users up the wall. Odd thing is the capacitors often do use US symbols. I have to vary depending on my client's wishes, but the squiggly resistor is about 75% of cases.
