Hi all. I'm new to pcb design & really struggling with footprint linking to the schematic part.. I created the schematic part & saved it. I created the footprint & saved that, but the tutorial is really not very clear on how to link them. The part is RS Stock No.: 310-1358
Mfr. Part No.:VB 1.0/2/9

Mark

Open the schematic symbol in the Schematic Symbol Editor and click on the Footprint attribute in the right hand panel. This opens the Footprint Manager. Enter the name of the Footprint the you created on the search box at the top. Search. Click on the correct entry in the list that is populated .. Check that the symbol pins are correctly mapped onto the Footprint pads. Adjust if necessary. ClivkbUpdate. Save the symbol. Done
