Hello **Question 1 :** I am designing a board where i want to add a fuse \- i added LCSC parts C58066 as fuse holders\, which need to be included into the PCB \- i want to add 2A fuses LCSC part C142829 and 1A fuses LCSC part C142743\, which will be put inside the fuse holders\, but are not needed on the PCB How do i specify _the fuses themselves_ in my schematic, so my order is complete and include fuses in the BOM ? **Question 2 :** If i use two LCSC part C3130 instead for each fuse holder, how do i space these C3130 correctly on the PCB ?

Thanks in advance

1) It will help you to read (2.2) (including Appendix A) in (2) in: [https://easyeda.com/forum/topic/How-to-ask-for-help-and-get-an-answer-71b17a40d15442349eaecbfae083e46a](https://easyeda.com/forum/topic/How-to-ask-for-help-and-get-an-answer-71b17a40d15442349eaecbfae083e46a)

which explains the use of the **Convert to PCB** and **Add into BOM** schematic symbol attributes to address exactly this type of situation. 2) Open the datasheets for the fuse and the clip. Check the maximum length of the fuse from the datasheet then set the spacing of the fuse clips so that the distance between the inside faces of the end stop tag (see image below) is about 0.5mm longer. Position the hole centres of the clip mounting pads accurately and make the diameters only slightly larger than the pin widths to reduce the slop in the clip fixing positions. ![Screenshot_20220424-093201_Drive.jpg](//image.easyeda.com/pullimage/Nl8DeLUiSJ1PEMyQx6YTRcUXZqbLHjPiGCwh1iSA.jpeg)

Hello Andy, 1) i started reading the whole documentation but i appreciate you pointing me directly to the appendix 2) i was wondering if there was any "auto" way to space/align both ends, and it seems there is not, but that's ok as your very clear and concise explaination gave me the manual way to do it Thanks for your time Best regards, Nicolas

@nipil, "i was wondering if there was any "auto" way to space/align both ends" You may be able to use the Align and Distribute tools under the Format menu button: ![image.png](//image.easyeda.com/pullimage/jr8bJijf8xd5kwutzP1ruFKz72LJ0Sh5R5iQtHHn.png)
