How to assign net to copper plane

Hi, I tried to test a 4 layer design. I changed the two inner layers to type 'Plane' and named them GND and VCC. Though I guess that does not mean that they belong to those nets. I then skipped the GND and VCC nets in the auto router and routed. The GND seems to be connected nicely. It will even connect if I don't give the planes any name. The VCC net does not connect. So I guess I have to assign the VCC net to my VCC plane somehow? Or what do I have to do to make this work? The name you give the inner layer in the Layer Manager has nothing to do with what net is assigned to it. To assign a net to an inner plane area, make it the active layer in the Layers and Objects tool then select it in the PCB Editor canvas then assign the net in the right hand panel: ![image.png](//image.easyeda.com/pullimage/CJ3a1AUeU6UXavQRhLvGSLsgfN2wbBHakqESAQlK.png)
