How to change the height of a part how it will be installed on pcb?

Hello There Is there a way to adjust the Z hight, how the part will be installed on pcb? Would like to use temp sensors to get the temperature of the ICs. But it should be installed higher in Z. (see the picture) In standard its to low. Thanks for your reply. Your only option there is to hand assemble the temperature sensors. Even if you can source some sort of spacer for the device to stand it off the board you may find it difficult to get JLCPCB to assemble it. For more info you should change the Category of this topic to JLCPCB or contact support JLCPCB directly.

Hi techcamper, Pretty easy... 01\. Select the component in the PCB view\. 02\. Click Tools \> 3D Model Mananger\. 03\. Use the 'Z' value in the 'Adjustment' table\. . The preview should update to show your adjustments although you'll probably have to come out of it and open another 3D view to see if it is correct. . Regards. MrToM.

@mrtom528, You can set the Z parameter that way but have you experience of JLCPCB actually manufacturing correctly based on that information? @techcamper, Please post back to let us know how you get on. Thanks,    Andy

@andyfierman, No I haven't but to be honest I never thought that the question was aimed toward manufacture giving that the OP supplied an image of the 3D PCB. I see now that it could have done but seems unlikely, the OP implying that adjusting for the 3D view was the intention. . . @techcamper, 'It worked perfect thanks a lot.:)' No worries. . Regards.
