Hello, Hopefully I've placed this in the correct category, apologies if not. I have two foot prints for an 18650 battery holder that I want to combined into a single foot print. I've made an attempt and tied the positive terminals together and the negative terminals together, but when I place it on a PCB layout and draw a trace to either terminal I'll be excluded from one of the pads. Say I draw a trace to Pad 1 (positive) and then try to go to Pad 3 (positive) I'll be prevented from making a connection to it. Also I'll get design errors from those pads.
