How to create FAB and ASSY Drawings for PCB mass production?

Hey All, Is there a way to create FAB and ASSY Drawings with EasyEDA PCBs? I'd like to get some PCBs mass produced, and the PCB assembler is asking for FAB and ASSY drawings. Is there a tool that converts the gerber and component list to those types of schematics? My other option is to learn KiCAD super fast and import the gerber to recreate it ... Thanks!

Can you define what your PCB assembler means by FAB and ASSY drawings? You can print or export the top and/or bottom silkscreen layers and you have other options to create PCB assembly aids just from the Print and Export menu in the PCB Editor. When you get a PCB made by EasyEDA, the PCB stack up is defined by the JLCPCB standard stack ups (see the JLCPCB PCB FAQ). If you have the board fabricated by an external PCB manufacturer then you will have to ask them what their standard (and hence cheapest) stack up is. For the avoidance of doubt, it is a good idea to create your own drawing to illustrate which PCB layer goes where in the stack up and which file in the Gerbers corresponds to each layer.

Thanks Andy, I was planning on having JLCPCB make the boards/panels, then have the assembler just assemble is since I dont believe they can match prices. I guess I should clarify with them what and why they need exactly. The assembler is requesting a Fabrication Drawing which outlines important standards and dimensions to follow [http://blog.optimumdesign.com/how-to-read-a-pcb-fabrication-drawing](http://blog.optimumdesign.com/how-to-read-a-pcb-fabrication-drawing) And an assembly drawing is curiously similar to the FAB drawing, except I believe it outlines drill points on the board, and harness locations and wiring... Do you think they need all that if I just want them to populate already created PCBs with components? Thanks!

Optimum sound like a serious outfit. Reading some of their information and "what we do and why we do it this way" pages, they may insist on this information to cover themselves. They may be expecting you to have an engineering department that has someone who can churn out assembly drawings like that illustrated in the link you sent. Although not the whole solution, you can add much of the required information directly into your PCB file using the **Document** layer. Like these: [https://easyeda\.com/example/Tesseract\_Guitar\_Practice\_Amp\-MjP71jBni](https://easyeda.com/example/Tesseract_Guitar_Practice_Amp-MjP71jBni) [https://easyeda\.com/andyfierman/Elements\_of\_a\_simple\_PCB\-e42c7b2a4e17449f821a97d04806aeeb](https://easyeda.com/andyfierman/Elements_of_a_simple_PCB-e42c7b2a4e17449f821a97d04806aeeb)
