How to cut slot at the edge of the PCB ?

What is right way to cut slot at the edge of the PCB board ? I used the "Slot Region" and cut a rectangle at the edge of my circular PCB. Hello, I'm sorry that the Board Outline Layer cannot be cut, this will definitely violate the drc and is not allowed.
