The preferred way is to create the structure as Footprints in the
Footprint Editor using only pads, numbered only as 1 or 2 as required, and then save it with a unique name then assign that Footprint to a suitable 2 pin switch, header or connector symbol in the schematic.
You may find a suitable Footprint or Symbol and Footprint pair already exist in the library.
