How to exclude an element from the editor?

Hello! How to exlude some elements from PCB, which noted in schematic? For example, in project [https://easyeda.com/D-503/GeekSport](https://easyeda.com/D-503/GeekSport), I'm not going to place the buttons and Hall sensor on PCB, but its present in Schematic. I'm going to connect them with wires rather than locate on the board.

If it's not on, or forms an integral part of the PCB, then it should not be in the schematic. Such off-board components can be represented in a wiring diagram but that is not the same diagram as the schematic from which you create the PCB. Please see (2) and (4) in: [https://easyeda\.com/andyfierman/Welcome\_to\_EasyEDA\-31e1288f882e49e582699b8eb7fe9b1f](https://easyeda.com/andyfierman/Welcome_to_EasyEDA-31e1288f882e49e582699b8eb7fe9b1f)

Hi Are you meaning the  hierarchical structure for the design? EasyEDA don't support this now.

If you want to place them in others PCB, you can copy and paste to a new PCB.

@UserSupport, I don't think this is a question about parts that are on a different PCB. This is about how to deal with components that are part of a circuit but which do not fit on the PCB. For example, the mains inlet socket or the loudspeaker of an amplifier are parts of the circuit but they are not mounted on - or form an integral part of - the PCB. Therefore they cannot not be in the schematic that is to be used to create the PCB. This question is discussed, using a guitar amplifier as an example, in "What is a PCB?" in: [https://docs.google.com/document/d/1CU7RuPyFlSZPzWBN-YZ0x87xeAB4xpLdLaIsUwhLj_M/edit#heading=h.5o65awd33c0l](https://docs.google.com/document/d/1CU7RuPyFlSZPzWBN-YZ0x87xeAB4xpLdLaIsUwhLj_M/edit#heading=h.5o65awd33c0l) which is in the document linked to in section (2.2) of: [https://easyeda\.com/andyfierman/Welcome\_to\_EasyEDA\-31e1288f882e49e582699b8eb7fe9b1f](https://easyeda.com/andyfierman/Welcome_to_EasyEDA-31e1288f882e49e582699b8eb7fe9b1f) * Note that this is a different issue from that of how to deal with optionally fitted components. That is covered using the "Mounted" BoM option.

@andyfierman, and will it be good, if I just delete the unnecessary components from the PCB? Can I make a correct order on JLCPCB after deleting?

You can manually add the off-board parts to the BoM and use that to order from or just directly add them to your parts order. Don't forget to check that they will all be delivered with the PCB to save the shipping cost. * To be sure: contact JLCPCB and copy LCSC support to tell them that you have included on **and** off-board components in the PCB order.

@EasyEDA, thank you very much!

Hi, not good! But there is a workaround. I just create a new Project, create all none PCB related schematic components at the new project.

@HerbV, To understand some more about the issues around off-PCB parts, please see this discussion: [https://easyeda.com/forum/topic/Off-PCB-parts-23830e5ebc344c628b26ecbc9be6cf27](https://easyeda.com/forum/topic/Off-PCB-parts-23830e5ebc344c628b26ecbc9be6cf27) and (2.2) in: [https://easyeda\.com/andyfierman/Welcome\_to\_EasyEDA\-31e1288f882e49e582699b8eb7fe9b1f](https://easyeda.com/andyfierman/Welcome_to_EasyEDA-31e1288f882e49e582699b8eb7fe9b1f) which has a version of theOff-PCB-parts discussion recently added as Appendix A.
