I am also trying to finish a big library that has just the sorts of logic devices you are asking about but this is still a couple of weeks away from being releasable.

@andyfierman Hi Andy, Did you ever finish and release the library you mentioned. Steve drsteve@umn.edu

Most of the library is available under EasyEDA - Spice Symbols - Digital 74HC. There should be some 4000 series parts too but for some reason they aren't showing up. You don't need to explicitly place a power supply for these devices unless you want to run them at a voltage other than +5V.

After 10 months: I'm still confused about the original question: how do I discover from the Parts List that a part has a Spice Simulation model? E.g. the one I was playing with today is an TL072 OpAmp - there are many but the only way I can figure out which work in simulations are to try them all in the circuit. What is the better way?

I start simulation but get an Error: * "There are some parts haven't spice model,  please use EElib and "Spice Symol" at Libraries of "Simulation" mode or you can assign the spice model for them" Similar problem faced
