hello, I am designing a motor driver pcb based on DRV8835, Problem is, the pins of DRV8835 is very thin. I came across the pololu motor carrier board ([https://www.pololu.com/product/2135](https://www.pololu.com/product/2135)). Here they have done a very interesting tracks for motor output where the width expands gradually. How do I do that in easyeda? TIA.

Hi, as far as I've tested, there is no way to have the tracks increase in size gradually, but you can use the "solid region" tool to imitate that! Here I have a Micro USB connector and some pads: **The net "H2_1" is actually VCC. I'd want some thicker copper for it instead of that thin trace.** ![1.png](//image.easyeda.com/pullimage/mgtXdfd8SjSjViI3cD1LDwEABtqnIvAzlb0Z7hxo.png) **Create a solid region where you need it with the same net as the connection you need:** ![3.png](//image.easyeda.com/pullimage/f4MP8J2pCwVTjzFrE6J1HC0ZoA6wfhRbb1VoeCfI.png) **Here you can see the end result:** ![2.png](//image.easyeda.com/pullimage/LMQRyNeOyR3WETl1YtVUwilcDvxc3wCNY2G2awv1.png) **Hope that helps!**

Hi! Here is also an example project how I use copper area to increase track width: [https://easyeda\.com/markus\_jidoka/400v\_geiger\_tube\_psu\_v1\-0\_copy](https://easyeda.com/markus_jidoka/400v_geiger_tube_psu_v1-0_copy) Regards, Markus Virtanen HW / Electronics Designer
