Can I mark ports of a library cell (e.g. ESP32) as inputs or outputs, or IOs according to the desired function? With a corresponding check, this can eliminate mistakes, such as output connected to output.

When you create a Schematic Symbol you can use predefined pin "Electric" attributes: ![image.png](//image.easyeda.com/pullimage/AHu8dxaqlli61PSjAV7ofpzYjMKt9Gk6izdZFvtG.png) but they are not currently checked as part of the DRC. Most Schematic symbols should already have these attributes set but for any that have not you can ungroup the symbol in the schematic, edit the indivdual pins and then regroup the symbol: ![image.png](//image.easyeda.com/pullimage/VubzRJTnv4x8Gof3cY0ePJowiHPpQnl5oSW2qkjA.png) * You must make a copy of the part prefix and name before you do this.
