I have a series of stacked PCBs that are interconnected via soldered headers (male only, no female sockets) with long pins. I have been using a fairly common 8-pin male header footprint with associated 3D model (HDR-TH_8P-P2.54-V-M) on all the PCBs. I've made sure the part is not in the BOM where applicable on each board. However, when I go to the 3D view on a PCB that isn't supposed to have the header (not in BOM, just needs footprint/pads) the header still shows up! I tried deleting the 3D model for the header, but that didn't work. I'd like the 3D view to represent how each PCB will actually look so I can properly visualize all the interconnections. Am I missing something? Thanks!
