I'd like to make the text size attached to components larger.

Hi daigleja, Welcome to EasyEDA. Sorry; at present you cannot change the text size for components but this has been noted as a Feature Request: <https://easyeda.com/bbs_view_1962.htm> :)

You can set the text size of any new symbols you create to any size but you cannot (at present) edit the text size of components placed in a schematic.
