How do I make a wire jumper link?

In experimenting with PCB layouts for my [DirSpk1b2 project][1], I think I might want to add one or two wire jumper links to jump across a large number of signal lines to transistors on the other side of the board. What is the right way to add these? Should I make a component and add it to the schematic? [1]: https://easyeda.com/alan.green/DirSpk1b2-bPlfxrI0i

`Should I make a component and add it to the schematic?` That's the one way to do it but you have to know the length of the jumper before you can define the footprint for the PCB. Another way to do it is to place a 0 Ohm resistor in the schematic and then select the right resistor footprint to match the jumper length that you need. The 'correct' way to do it is to create a 2 layer design that simply uses vias to swap layers to avoid the need for 'air bridge' crossovers (a.k.a. wire links). If you really can't do it with 2 layers and no air bridges then think of it as nature's way of telling you that you need to go to 4 or more layers. :)

Thanks for the suggestions. I think I will fight nature and try to do it with two layers and maybe only one jumper. I can certainly get a trace across the board, but for 6A at 48V, it's important to have a sufficiently wide and low-resistance path
