How to format code in this forum

I wanted to post some code in this forum, but I'm having trouble formatting it. First I indented by 4 spaces, then clicked preview, but that didn't work. Then I tried the markdown viewer. I added <br> after each line, but in preview it ignored it. I ended up just adding a blank line between each line of code. What's the right way to format in this forum? I hope you consider using different forum software for EasyEDA. I don't think this one is very good, especially if you start getting a real community on here. Simple Machines seems like a good one; EEVBlog uses it.

Thanks for your advice. The key factor why we can't use other forum like Simple Machines is EasyEDA use a better password protect solution. EasyEDA's password is diffrent from other forum password, We will provide a better solution later. You can use two empty lines to replace <br>

Any text you enclose in back ticks like these ` in effect quotes it literally in the text. On a UK keyboard backticks are on the key in the top row immediately to the left of the 1 key in the row above QWERTYUIOP. Note that back ticks are not the same as apostophes. The text in this line is not enclosed in back ticks. `The text in this line is enclosed in back ticks.` Back ticks apply only over a line and not over line returns. You may be best playing in the **Markdown Editor and viewer**.
