Hi I am trying to add a microcontroller to a project I didn't find in a list. It's a SOIC14 package. How can I go about making the microcontroller schematic and PCB outline?

Do you mean schematic symbol and PCB footprint? Please see the Tutorial. https://easyeda.com/Doc/Tutorial/SchematicLibs.htm#Creating-the-Schematic-Libs https://easyeda.com/Doc/Tutorial/PCBLib.htm#Creating-The-PCB-Libs

What is the part number of the device you would like a symbol and footprint for?

@andyfierman Hi, I'm new to EasyEDA and I'm trying to build a circuit around a Siemens Logo8! process controller and digital add-on module. Has anyone created schematic symbols for these, or willing to create them for me?

Do a SHIFT+F search through the library. Think laterally for the search terms, don't just look for `Siemens Logo8`. If you find something that looks right then check it carefully against a manufacturer's datasheet showing the pinout and mechanical dimensions, including a PCB footprint if possible. If you find something close then you can clone it with a unique name, edit and check it then save it and add a description including a link to the manufacturer's product page and a link to a manufacturer's datasheet showing the pinout and mechanical dimensions, including a PCB footprint if possible. If you can't find anything, please post back with a manufacturer's datasheet showing the pinout and mechanical dimensions, including a PCB footprint if possible.

I would like to add MAX5304 and MAX6102. I guess that should be easy enough.

@w.r.smith, When you create schematic symbols or PCB footprints please build them based on the original manufacturer's datasheet information. Once you have created the symbol or footprint, save it and then check it very carefully. Finally, add a description including a link to the manufacturer's product page and a link to a manufacturer's datasheet showing the pinout and mechanical dimensions, including a PCB footprint if possible. If you cannot find an original manufacturer's datasheet, you can try to find a datasheet from a supplier. The important thing is to make sure that the symbol or footprint is accurate and is well documented. Thanks.
