Importing OBJ file not working
641 1
Hi, I've added a schematic and pad layout for a plug I am using (Hirose ZE05H-8DP-2H, which was based off another user's ZE05H-24DP-2H). I've been trying to import the 3D model for the part as well, the manufacturer has step and iges files available, I've converted those to an OBJ (with SolidWorks) and, when going to File -> New 3D, I hit Add File and try select the file, click OK, then a Processing window pops up a bunch of times and nothing shows up. The model loads fine in other programs, such as Blender. Also, the exported OBJ model of my circuit board seems to not import correctly to Blender, only the materials show. Importing the same obj to solidworks, the geometry shows but no materials.. It's the only part missing from my board for a full render :(
