Is there a library cell for toggle switch?

I couldn't locate a library cell for a toggle switch like below. I actually need just the ON-OFF versions (2 pins, not the 3 pins). Also, I assume there are 2 ways to connect to the PCS: 1- Solder the pins. I don't like this option because of mechanical aspects, like stability. 2- A hole, so the switch will be on top, and the body from below. I will solder the switch manually to the pads. Is there a ready to go library for that? ![WhatsApp Image 2020-10-06 at 10.14.25.jpeg](//image.easyeda.com/pullimage/JNnuTV5kVx8FOHvLkVVxCt2uvGa8fe2DE97YJ3aE.jpeg)

1. Without a datasheet from which to decide accurate dimensions of the part in your photo, it is not possible to decide if an existing library footprint is available; 2. If you want to mount the switch directly on the PCB then you may have to create your own PCB Footprint because the part in your picture has solder tags for wired connections and is not designed for PCB mount so it is unlikely that there will be a suitable footprint in the library;  3. If you want to make a hole in the PCB to mount the threaded collar into, you can either: (a) make a PCB Footprint which also includes 3 pads for the wires to the switch; (b) just place a hole the right size for the collar and place a 3 pin header for the wires. * To understand more about how to represent components mounted on the PCB like this in the Schematic, please read (2.2) including the Appendix A and; * to understand more about how to create suitable symbols and footprints please read (2.3): in (2) in: [https://easyeda.com/forum/topic/How-to-ask-for-help-and-get-an-answer-71b17a40d15442349eaecbfae083e46a](https://easyeda.com/forum/topic/How-to-ask-for-help-and-get-an-answer-71b17a40d15442349eaecbfae083e46a) You can also look at how I represented switches SW1 - SW3 in the Tesseract project: [https://easyeda\.com/example/Tesseract\_Guitar\_Practice\_Amp\-MjP71jBni](https://easyeda.com/example/Tesseract_Guitar_Practice_Amp-MjP71jBni)

This is a very common toggle switch, so I was hoping to find a ready to use lib footprint and schematic drawing. Data sheet: [http://www.massuse-relay.com/details/MTSSeries.pdf](http://www.massuse-relay.com/details/MTSSeries.pdf) I prefer the 2nd option you mentioned: have a hole in the PC, and pads near by. I can do it now, but without a corresponding lib cell, it will be a "non-prefect alignment between schematic and pcb".

"...without a corresponding lib cell, it will be a "non-prefect alignment between schematic and pcb"." In which case, you have the option to make your own PCB Footprint and then assign it to a switch Schematic Symbol of your choice.

Could you not source the PCB mount version of this switch?

I am not sure I understand. My solution for now, as it is my first PCB, is to place 2 pin header pads, and a hole for the switch. I will solder the switch connectors to the pads.

@YigalB, The datasheet you posted the link to includes some dedicated PCB mount switches: ![image.png](//image.easyeda.com/pullimage/ixf1CJtbe3W4nzkaP51RFjpDb0YBhXEFajPjGKhO.png)
