Not sure I understand your question. Auto layout in a *schematic* editor? From what? A netlist of some sort? Auto placement and/or auto routing is something normally associated with PCB layout, not schematic capture. PCB auto and interactive routing are being intensively developed both within EasyEDA and by at least one of our users but I'm not aware of any work being done on any form of schematic auto layout function. If you can describe a bit more about what you would like to see or what you expect from such a feature and how would you expect to use it, then please submit a Feature Request.
