Isolate copper area buld from circuit ground

Hey, any tips on how to isolate the copper area build(bottom layer) from circuit ground. I'd prefer my copper area to act as a shield and connect to chassis without my circuit ground also connecting to chassis at this point. I seem to have been able to do this before when I built a PCB  without a schematic link. I have tried changing the net of the copper area to "shield" but then it disappears. Thanks for your help.

Opps, Solved by selecting "Yes" to "Keep Island" on the copper area properties

If it's on - or forms an integral part of - the PCB then it must be represented in the schematic. So you need a net in the schematic called "shield". Please see (2.2), (4) & (6) in: [https://easyeda\.com/andyfierman/Welcome\_to\_EasyEDA\-31e1288f882e49e582699b8eb7fe9b1f](https://easyeda.com/andyfierman/Welcome_to_EasyEDA-31e1288f882e49e582699b8eb7fe9b1f)
