Items showing on wrong layer - Easyeda automatically deselecting components

While making adjustments to a pcb, I'm running into a couple of problems today. I place text on the Bottom silk layer, but in the 3d preview it shows on the top silk layer. 1 previously placed item on the bottom silk layer stays on the bottom silk layer however. The text tool also does not work, it does not show the text after placing it. It's just not there. I also **can't** select components, because Easyeda will deselect it right away. The properties don't even show up on the right. Here you can see that the text (blue) is on the BottomSilkLayer. ![6fc18390e67e25c41f0e4a63eaf275a2.png](//image.easyeda.com/pullimage/F7EBDyiZMjOTjqShxPB8CGlUrAleCQS1pwHIDgX4.png) And here in a screenshot of the 3d model, you can see the text shows on the TopSilkLayer. But the logo (on the right) IS on the BottomSilkLayer. ![0ff30175c17c01a170c74e6dc6c4aeb7.png](//image.easyeda.com/pullimage/oYGQZ8UcnbI3cd7agBaa5QpEIUrKzt5f0QdY0uC7.png) These issues persist on the browser version, and the desktop version. Have tried logging in again, did not work.

Your project is private so only you can see it. Can you post the link to a public project that demostrates this issue?

I think that the text not showing is because you have turned off the text visibility: ![image.png](//image.easyeda.com/pullimage/FpzrtpCKh00eOfr2wk5EB2OBxztMIWLfZrTxeEeD.png)

When you make the Text visible again, you will see that you do have text on the top silk layer: ![image.png](//image.easyeda.com/pullimage/A6JgOoir2X1clLbVrMjSjR8jsHHy564ma2ftdVr9.png) Check also that you have a tick next to component in the Object tab of the Layers and Objects palette. If there is no tick against an object type then objects of that type cannot be selected.

That seems to have fixed it! I believe the Component was checked under objects, as I was now able to select it. Either way I can now make the changes I needed to. Thanks for your help!
