Designed everything in EasyEDA, generated Gerber, BOM and CPL and launched JLCPCB for Assembly. All parts were accepted except for the 74HC595 shift register, which JLCPCB website logic deemed not selected. Contacted JLCPCB support and they recognised that the LCSC footprint used in EasyEDA is different than the JLCPCB footprint, although the technical specifications and everything else (C5947, Nexperia 74HC595D,118 and data sheet are identical). So, I searched EasyEDA using the path method: Logic ICs > 74 Series using the JLCPCB Assembled filter. Success: It's the 1st entry. But, the package name is different again! This EasyEDA package name cannot be found on JLCPCB website either. End result: I cannot place the order with JLCPCB. I cannot change the package in EasyEDA to use the JLCPCB name as it doesn't exist. I could not find any 74HC595 that has the same package/footprint in EasyEDA, LCSC and JLCPCB. Any ideas to help me out of this situation are most welcome.
