Hi, I'm just starting with simulation so I created a schematic with a 555 timer from the easyeda lib. CTL-R gives up and I can't find a .model for the 555 in the spice netlist. Where am I going wrong??? See here: https://easyeda.com/editor#id=d7e7844d9d384b45a6567ada1254d1e0

Hi, Welcome to EasyEDA. With the V4.1.1. update, things have got moved around a bit. Essentially, the EasyEDALibs no longer contain any symbols with associated spice models. These are now only accessible via the `More Libraries...` button or a **SHIFT+F** search. Please see: https://easyeda.com/Doc/Tutorial/new-v-4.1.1.htm for more. The EasyEDA model for the 555 time is: 555_BJT_EE Eventually, the plan is to be able to search spice parts via tags but at present there is a lot more work needed to make finding them easy to find. :)

Thanks, now I do see a model for the 555. Changed the schematic and now I do see a model in the spice netlist. CTRL-R gives me a convergence error, don't know why .... yet thanks

Hi, The simplest fix to get your sim to work is to replace the `9` in V1 with `PULSE(0 9)`. The reason your sim fails to converge and why this fixes it is covered in: **Configuring Voltage and Current Sources > Configuring the PULSE option** and; **Initial conditions and starting up circuits** in the EasyEDA Simulation eBook: https://docs.google.com/document/u/1/d/1OWZVVFRAe_2NW3WratpkA_SGuHa5AcRow5ZRfvcoVTU/pub (Please use this in preference to the one on the EasyEDA pages as the table of contents is broken in that one.) Please also see the updated post: https://easyeda.com/forum/topic/How_to_find_simulatable_parts_in_EasyEDA-1YgasK2kC
