**BUG**
Concise problem statement:
a) Can't Login/out via Editor and
b) Login via home page shows empty **My Projects** in Navigation panel in Editor in Chrome.
* Broken in Chrome latest on Kubuntu 12.04LTS and on W7 Pro.
* Same behaviour if I login as `andyfierman`.
* Seems to be OK in Firefox.
Steps to reproduce bug:
1. Login as `example` from the Editor has no effect. Pressing the login button does nothing: the login screen does not disappear; it has to be closed by the `X` button.
2. It is possible to log `example` in from the home page using the green **Login** button. `example` is then shown as the user in the Editor but it is then not possible to log `example` out again from the Editor menu.
3. Even though `example` is shown as logged in, **Navigation panel > My Projects** in the Editor is completely empty.
