I have tried "Adding a a new parameter" and putting in a new package name,
but the software ignores the new package name, and won't allow me to change the empty
original package name.
Any thoughts?
Thanks,
Lisa Dalton
hi
If you want to change footprint's package, please change its title, ignore the package parameter, we will remove the package parameter in the feature. thanks
I found a dimension error in the part and corrected it.
Now the footprint is in a PCB tab instead of a footprint TAB labeled
1nF 400V. The PACKAGE is labeled 1nF400VacSAFETYCAP.
Now I am totally lost after spending many hours trying to create 1 part.
Creating the footprint is easy, using the system to save it properly is
another story.
Thanks for your help and any advice you can give.

THANK YOU for taking care of that part issue!
NOW I can move on and get something accomplished!
*Is there something I should have known to do to fix that myself?*
Thanks again,
Lisa D
This might help (but beware the change where Tutorials talks about removing the package parameter):
