ngspice is open source software and can be run on any PC, linux or win. Did anybody try to just copy the spice netlist from EE to stand-alone ngspice? Is it as simple as it seems? This would also remove the limitation from the number of simulation steps per run.

An EE spice netlist should run OK in Ngspice but depending on how your​ ngpice installation was built, you may have to remove the `.control`, `.endc` and​ `quit` commands and add a `.` in front of the spice analysis command. Please see the ngspice manual for more information about this. If you do what is described above then you can run the netlist in the online simulator at: `Ngspice.com`
