why is there nothing in the properties panel of a component that identifies what symbol it is from the library it shows the Footprint, manufacturer and all sorts of things, but nothing visible in the properties that tie it back to a symbol from the library. there is clearly an invisible link not being displayed. if i have a component on a schematic, how am i supposed to find it in the library to add another if the properties does not display what it is? yes im sure i can copy and past it, but its not the point, i want to know what it is and find it in the library yet the information is not displayed even the Right click / Edit Symbol dose not display the name of the Symbol that is being edited ?
