Hi,
in the FAQ it says I can but multiple PCBs in one panel without extra cost, as long as they it's the same PCB. Can I also put 2 or more design next to each other (without extra cost), as long as they have the same board outline dimensions? Because it should not really matter if it's different layouts, as long as they are all the same size, right?
Also, is there a minimum or maximum distance that can/should be between the boards?
Here is what I have right now:
As you can see, it's 2 different design, but with the exact same dimensions. Should not be a problem, right?
The distance between the boards is 0,2mm right now, is that OK or should I move them further apart?
Treat the spacing between the boards as you would the track to track or track to pad clearance. So if you take the boundary between the boards, then you should apply the minimum track to track or track to pad clearance between a track or pad to the boundary of the board.
As implied in:
https://easyeda.com/Doc/Tutorial/PCBOrderFAQ#Different-Design-in-Panel
the boundary itself can be zero width.
That makes the spacing between tracks and pads across the boundary twice that of the minimum track to track or track to pad clearance within the board and to the boundary.
