My PCB has only one side with copper

Hi, I'm a beginner into the PCB design and have created a PCB that is straightforward, two LEDS and a header. This is my humble project: https://easyeda.com/jp.roquesalane/annunciator-eefd37e7ac6a4726a2b2cd366ffa1fbb I placed an order a week ago and i received the package. Although, i have noticed that there is only one side poured with copper dot, and i wanted copper on both sides, that way i would be able to solder on both sides. Actually, the two LEDS need to be soldered on one side, but the header has be to soldered on the opposite side. With that in mind, the 100 PCBs i received are unusable. Did i make a mistake? is this a problem from your side? Thanks for your assistance. JP

Hi, After checking your PCB Layout, I found your PCB didn't set the copper area of both side, so the PCB you got is base on your Gerber, that is normal. If you want to copper on both side, you need to copper toplayer and bottomlayer. [https://easyeda.com/Doc/Tutorial/PCB.htm#Copper-Area][1] Toplayer ![enter image description here][2] BottomLayer ![enter image description here][3] After coppering, you can check the PCB what looks like on the photo view: ![enter image description here][4] Finish that, your PCB will look what you want. ps:If you have read our tutorials with two hours, I think you will accelerate your design. :) https://easyeda.com/Doc/Tutorial/ [1]: http://%20https://easyeda.com/Doc/Tutorial/PCB.htm#Copper-Area [2]: /editor/20170811/598d8a7e894b1.png [3]: /editor/20170811/598d8abeb06cc.png [4]: /editor/20170811/598d8b1ef379a.png

Okay, thanks. I've just modified the PCB and routed the track on the bottom layer. Would you mind why do you suggest to route on both sides? Can you review my PCB before ordering once again? Would it be possible to get a discount, as i will place an order for the same PCB? Thanks anyway for your help. JP

@jp.roquesalane Would you mind why do you suggest to route on both sides? >just convenience for solder on both sides We don't have discount activity now. ps: If you don't use "Rely" option to rely me, I will not get your message.

Do the component pin holes on your original PCB not have pads on both sides of your PCB? Are the holes not plated through?
