What about inverting the image before you import it into EasyEDA? You can do this easily and for free using Gimp or an online image processing tool.

I wonder if a better work flow would be to use something like Inkscape to design your graphics then export it as a DXF or an image which you can simply Import into EasyEDA. Then you have a tool that is designed for graphical work which will not limit the scope of your graphics rather than try to bend a tool designed to make EDA easier into a what would only ever realistically be a restricted feature graphics design tool. Just my thoughts...the developers may think differently. :)

An ECAD tool such as EasyEDA is essentially also graphical tool like Inkscape. Both programs could be used to design a logo or draw some copper traces. For designing logos, you should use Inkscape and not EasyEDA. To draw copper traces, you should use EasyEDA and not Inkscape. The example above is quite extreme, I know.  The question is: "Where to draw the line?"  Does "making text negative" belong in an ECAD tool? It's up to you...

Well, not me directly. It's whether the developers see it as an important feature. For a feature to be considered important it has to be something that is frequently asked for. They have to balance their resources between a request such as this and, for example, a 3D Viewer or differential and bus trace length matching or net classes and other schematic annotation to PCB attribute functions. What you see as a feature is something that makes the experience of using EasyEDA easier and more comfortable than using Inkscape and then importing graphical items into the Schematic Symbol and PCB footprint - or directly into the PCB - Editors compared to stuff that cannot be done outside of the EasyEDA environment. I'm not saying your request is not a valid one, just that it is likely to be some way down the developer's ToDo list.

Hi Usersupport, I have used the shape invert already for importing images.  For simply converting text to negative text, it's kind of a long way to create an image of the text first (e.g. in Inkscape), inverting it and then importing it as an image to EasyEDA with the correct Image Size. As stated above it's up to debate if it's a useful feature in ECAD or not.  The folks of Altium added it, the folks of Cadsoft Eagle didn't (to my knowledge). I like EasyEDA, that little feature would have made my life easier in some designs.  If the feature will not be implemented, no hard feelings.
