Net Error Location?
2505 2
afranit 7 years ago
Sometimes when I'm adding tracks to my design, they cut off either the Vdd plane or the ground plane for one or more components, which triggers a net error. Net errors are easy to find for nets that are just tracks, but copper plane errors are much harder to find and half the time I don't know what's cut off from what. Is there some sort of tool in EasyEDA that lets me find those cut-off pads? This is only my second project with EasyEDA, I'm not too familiar with it yet.

Hi Afranit, You can highlight the pins affected by a Net error: 1. Click on the **Design** button in the left hand panel; 2. Refresh the Nets using the little circular green refresh icon; 3. Click on the net(s) with the red highlighted cross; 4. Look through the list of affected pins in the bottom Net Pins section of the Design Manager panel 5. The affected pins are also highlighted in the PCB layout. You may also see Ratlines from any pins that are disconnected by the error which may help locate the problem. You can do a similar check for any DRC errors which may also help locate the problem. ![enter image description here][1] [1]: /editor/20170613/593ed01aab9e8.png
