I am having the same issue. I have tried multiple ways of adding the footprint and none work. The documentation suggests that tyou add the footprint from the schematic but its not working from any option.

It does eventually appear but at the moment it may take tens of minutes or maybe even longer. I do not know why.

Its been several hours, and it still claims that the file does not exist when I search for it by name. I have to go through the files manually in my "workspace library" to select the footprint. This happens from time to time and its very frustrating.

I find you have to find the footprint in All(My Libraries) and select it there.  From then on it appears in Workspace

I believe you are required to post a sample project and screenshot to prove the validity of your report. Hello everyone, I have the same issue on my end. I've created a new part with footprint but if I try to assign the footprint to the part the footprint can't be found. I tried all possible variations of assignment but nothing works. I waited over 24 hours but the footprint don't show up even it's in my list of the library.  Here you can see the footprint "INTECTOR_1764" in the library list.  Here you can see the symbol "INTECTOR_1764" in the library list.  If i try to assign footprint to symbol, the footprint "INTECTOR_1764" can't be found. Please advice. best regards Kai

@Intector, Have you tried MikeDB's suggestion above to see if it then appears when you search with **Classes** set to **Workspace** in the **Footprint Manager**?

Yes, I tried all available options. 

Hallo, MikeDB's suggestion is not available in the footprint manager, only in the library and there I can select it:

@Intector, I have no idea what's causing your issue. Can you try copying the symbol and footprint with a new name to see if you can then associate the copies? Otherwise, because this is a somewhat different issue from that of the original post, could you repost as a new Bug Report please?

Hi we are investigating this issue now, we will fix it soon. at present, you need to use Select instead of Search  @andyfierman @Intector

I have a work-around/solution: In Footprint Manager, instead of the Search tab, use the Select tab. Classes: Workspace. Tags: All(My Libraries) All of my footprints, including the new ones, show up and are selectable.
