No Bottom Solder Mask Generated

My board keeps getting rejected by JLCPCB because EasyEDA is not generating a bottom solder mask. [This is my board](https://easyeda.com/editor#id=7af33e3853ce4743bdc8660cd7e45b94|8274c5119e184d00808d8c011f2dff3b|682e485fe63f430f9700dea788cd8a1d|99be0d4ab73e4b35aa3e8e32a289e778) I urgently need to get this board ordered.

@andyfierman I tried closing the editor and reloading the design but when I run the auto router and view the bottom solder mask layer I see nothing. There is just one component on the bottom but presumably it should be given a solder mask and without it the design is being rejected by the PCB maker.

Sorry Chris, I posted the wrong link from the clipboard... [https://docs.easyeda.com/en/Introduction/Share-to-Public/index.html](https://docs.easyeda.com/en/Introduction/Share-to-Public/index.html) (Not that you need it now anyway!) :)

Hi After checking , the Gerber has solder mask layer but no top solder mask layer, since your PCB hasn't top layer pad and top solder mask layer object. ![snipaste_20180823_094309.png](//image.easyeda.com/pullimage/zpgxgS3gkNB9uSHpSsudoTdf4FAXewJ7NaRJ1lYu.png)

As far as I can make out, 1\. The bottom layer \(blue layer in EasyEDA\) has 4 rectangular pads on it so it should have a solder mask with 4 rectangular cutouts in it to expose the pads\. 2\. The top layer \(red layer in EasyEDA\) comprises a single roughly circular pad \(defined by a polygon\) with a short length of track inside it from the centre of the pad to the via\. \(This length of track is not necessary but helps keep the DRC happy\)\. Because the whole of the top layer is a single pad\, thee will bo no solder maks for the top layer except possibly some thin slivers between the board outline and the straight edges of the polygon\. * If this is what the customer intends, why is this a problem for fabrication?

JLCPCB rejected the PCB twice for not having a bottom solder mask although the component you see was on the bottom as it is now. Then I made some trivial changes to the design and the bottom solder mask appeared.  I submitted the design to JLCPCB and they accepted it. You saw the solder mask when you looked because it was probably after I had managed to cause it to be generated.  The problem is solved now although it definitely existed when I reported it.
