No connection

Hello All; Having a ruff time trying to make a "No connection" to a device I have the "X" but when I look at the Device Net errors it still shows up. I have looked at the help files and it looks easy but I can't make it work. Project name : Halloween Counter Schematic -- Public ![Picture of the error][1] [1]: /editor/20161231/58675a84f0f70.jpg John

If you look closely at the pin you will see that there is a red join dot at the end of a short segment of green net to the left of it. Delete the net segment and reapply the no connect symbol. In your schematic you have many joins dots in places you should just have continuous sites. If you tidy them up you will find design checking much easier. :)

Thank you Andy I was thinking the "X" would have a connection dot. Simular to the ground Andy can you explain or copy a image of the "Join" dots. Yes I would like to have a clean board. I have done about 6 boards and to this date never had a board that had a wron connections and had to use a dremel and reconnect. John ![Working][1] [1]: /editor/20170101/5867e4cc0b930.jpg

Your schematic maybe in problems, because you set the snap to zero. If you set the snap to zero, there are may red joins. Why. If you set the sanp to zero, if the pin's dot is at [10, 10] , the wire will start from [10, 9] at at [10, 10], if the pin dot on the wire, so there is a red dot. ![enter image description here][1] [1]: /editor/20170103/586b5a8d66270.png

Hi John, To add to what Support have said: Most of your pins and wires are off-grid. This makes it very hard to correctly join wires to component and ground or supply label pins. The join dots are the little solid red circles. Normally, a join dot only appears where three or more wires (or two or more wires and a component pin) join together. This is illustrated in: https://easyeda.com/editor#id=ef154fd656654aa4b54e9bb06bc490c8 (which is part of the EasyEDA Simulation eBook: https://docs.google.com/document/u/1/d/1OWZVVFRAe_2NW3WratpkA_SGuHa5AcRow5ZRfvcoVTU/pub but which also illustrates this point quite well).
