Not all component names visible

Am I missing something here or is this a bug? When I try to display component names on a PCB, some are visible and some are not. In this video, I am unable to show names for the pin header or the capacitor C4 but other components qork fine. This happens in Chrome, FirFox and EasyEDA desktop. In the "Layers and Objects" menu, everything is turned on to visible. [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mB-Y92JuJeo](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mB-Y92JuJeo)

Confirmed on a second machine using both FireFox and EasyEDA desktop client.

@GilgaFrank, Can you post a link to a public copy or an example project that demostrates this behaviour?

Hi Andy, this happens with every project I create. Here's an example project, can't display the names for capacitors C3 and C4. Other components work fine. [https://easyeda.com/GilgaFrank/Bughunt](https://easyeda.com/GilgaFrank/Bughunt)

@GilgaFrank Hi Just select the component and move to edit>>Name Position>>Left (or you can put it wherever you want) just follow the image below ![name position.png](//image.easyeda.com/pullimage/DLv3NN2Pbie1cOaXAsTXKxVoTctuXSvOJxtbXISK.png) ![capacitor.JPG](//image.easyeda.com/pullimage/bGpdYHbYswPeSjhE4AaNMNzTAMMGJApcaafLBVZ3.jpeg)

@JLCPCBsupport @GilgaFrank two ways 1、enable the name display ![图片.png](//image.easyeda.com/pullimage/IUcsu0EwklpFGrr4Xznt9aC8Abb3AI8kyx5YLoro.png) 2、set part's name as display ![图片.png](//image.easyeda.com/pullimage/DLaz3ABhJZEMeCFdZcpTJmAHdGLc6TCwq2K2UhcH.png)

@UserSupport This is not the source of the issue I guess since he already has some components names displayed, I tried all ways to make (capacitor4 and 3 names visible) but it wan't work, then when I selected the "Name Position" for those components it displayed as it show the images that I posted in my previous comment. You can check that in his design through the following link : [https://easyeda.com/GilgaFrank/Bughunt](https://easyeda.com/GilgaFrank/Bughunt) Let's wait for him to check if the solution that I suggested works or not.

@JLCPCBsupport Oh, my mistake, that is editor's bug, the name offset to a long position, it should be fixed at v6.3.53, @GilgaFrank Does this PCB created at v6.3.53 or previous version?

Editor version is 6.3.53 @UserSupport, as I mentioned in the first post I have taken all the steps you suggested but the component names were not visible. The suggestion bu @JLCPCBSupport to set the name position solved the problem but the issue persists when I create a new project.

Just found an additional but similar problem. [https://easyeda.com/GilgaFrank/Bughunt2](https://easyeda.com/GilgaFrank/Bughunt2) In this project I can't see any capacitor names on the PCB (as before) but additionally I can't see capacitor names for C3 and C4 on the schematic. Again, this is editor version 6.3.53. Please advise.

@GilgaFrank At least we solved part of the issue, I will investigate more and let you know once I find some useful solution.

@JLCPCBSupport, thanks for your assistance! Unfortunately with the current situation of not being able to see component values on the schematic the software is almost entirely useless at the moment.

@UserSupport, @JLCPCBsupport, @GilgaFrank, Some more information. When I copy either of the original projects, I see the same problems. * I do not think it is anything to do with the names being misplaced a long way away from the footprint. If that were true then if the name visibility were set to Yes and then the K key pressed, the PCB would zoom out to the include the misplaced names. That does not happen. * However, if I create a new PCB from them and then lay them out like in the originals, I do not see the issue: visibility of the names and prefixes can be toggled as expected. I am using the online version and have tried this in both Chrome and Firefox.

Additionally, the same display fault occurs when I try to show the package names on the schematic.
