I'm in EasyEDA on my Mac. It's been working fine most of the day. Now I'm getting the error "Fail to connect to server!" when I go to save. It's in offline mode, so I'm not sure what it's attempting to do where it doesn't have access to the server. Version 6.4.19.4.
I was able close the application, and then reopen it, and it saves now. I did lose some work. Whatever check is happening before save needs to be looked at to to make sure there's no potential of lost work.

this issue is a knwon issue, we found that is Electron issue, and it is hard to fix, and it is hard to repeat, we will keep investigate it

I just had this happen to me, and was able to recover my files using documents recovery. I hope this can be of help: the issue occurred when I updated chrome while easyEDA was open.

please export your design as EasyEDA format. and then re-start the desktop client, and open the file and save
